In a Facebook post, Yul Edochie questioned their true intentions, arguing that there is no valid reason to attack one’s own people, even if they have different views.
The movie star labeled such actions as cowardly, emphasizing that true bravery lies in protecting one’s community, not destroying it.
He added that “Onye gbulu nwanne ya aburo odogwu”, meaning “One who kills their own brother is not a hero.”
Yul Edochie wrote: “An Igbo man says he’s fighting for Biafra. Then he starts killing his own people. So who then are you fighting for? There can never be any justification for harming your own people, wether they agree with your ideology or not.
“Only a coward kills his people to make a point. A courageous man protects his people at all cost. ONYE GBULU NWANNE YA ABURO ODOGWU!”
KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie recently criticized people who claim to be “born again” Christians but only change their outward appearance while still harboring wickedness in their hearts.
