Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, Kunle Afolayan highlighted the contradiction of people complaining about unemployment while failing to perform well when given job opportunities.
“I am so saddened by the high level of incompetence in our beloved country. A lot of people cry about not having a job, but when they get one, how efficient are they at it? I’m so pissed,” he wrote.
His post quickly sparked discussions, with many people agreeing that inefficiency in the workforce remains a major issue in Nigeria.
Several entertainers echoed his concerns, sharing their own experiences.
Actress Biola Bayo commented, “Come ask me o. They’ll apply for jobs, call for an interview and won’t show up. The ones you pick will not resume work, or the one who resumes doesn’t want to work.”
Media personality Stephanie Coker added, “I spent the whole weekend discussing this.”
Comedian and skit maker Kiekie also weighed in, saying, “I am screaming!! This!! It’s alarming!! If you have all the money in this world, you’ll still not get results! The spirit of excellence is zero.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Kunle Afolayan and his brother, Aremu Afolayan, recently ended their long-standing feud during their mother’s wake-keep ceremony in Oyo State.
