Nigerian content creator, Jarvis has stirred reactions after repeatedly telling her boyfriend Peller, to “shut up” during their conversations.
The issue gained attention following an episode of the “BTS Reality Show”, where Jarvis opened up about her past health struggles, including her battle with a mouth tumor.
The content creator revealed how Peller supported her through the difficult period, revealing that she intentionally chose not to involve her family to spare them the stress of traveling to Lagos.
“I came to Lagos after school even though I didn’t like it because of how rowdy Lagos is, but it is the centre of business.
“He [Peller] is like family to me, and I accepted him like that. So, when I wasn’t feeling fine, I didn’t want to involve my parents, but he was by my side,” she shared.
However, as she was telling her story, Peller attempted to chime in, and Jarvis quickly cut him off with a firm “shut up.”
Many viewers took issue with the exchange, accusing her of being dismissive toward Peller.
Social media users pointed out that this wasn’t the first time she had publicly shut him down, referencing other instances in videos where she used the same phrase.
While some criticized her behavior as disrespectful, others defended it, suggesting that it might simply be how they interact as a couple.
