American comedian and actor, Tracy Morgan has revealed that food poisoning was the reason he fell ill during Monday night’s Heat-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.
The comedian suddenly vomited in the third quarter, causing a game delay of over 10 minutes as staff cleaned up the area around his seat.
He was later wheeled off the court, sparking concerns among fans. Some bystanders claimed to have seen blood coming from his nose, but a source close to Morgan dismissed those reports as false.
On Tuesday morning, the 56-year-old shared a photo from a hospital bed, smiling and giving a thumbs-up.
Tracy Morgan reassured fans that he was recovering and expressed gratitude to the Madison Square Garden staff.
“Thank you all for your concern. I’m doing okay now and doctors say it was good poisoning.” Morgan wrote.
“Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean up to. Appreciate you”.
Adding his signature humor, Morgan joked that his incident might have been good luck for the Knicks.
“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs,” he quipped, ending with #GoKnicks.
Tracy Morgan, a longtime Knicks fan, recently appeared at the *Saturday Night Live* 50th-anniversary celebrations.
He’s also set to star alongside Daniel Radcliffe in an upcoming NBC comedy pilot, playing a disgraced former football player trying to rebuild his image.
Morgan has faced serious health battles in the past, including a kidney transplant in 2010 and a life-threatening accident in 2014 that left him in a coma.
