Nigerian activist and social commentator, VeryDarkMan has released a diss track for gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, following her recent lawsuit against him.
VeryDarkMan previewed the song titled “Body of Christ” on Instagram, hinting at featuring controversial artist Portable on the track.
In a viral video, the activist could be seen dancing to the song which appears to be a direct jab at Mercy Chinwo.
While previewing the song, he asked his followers for suggestions on an artist with “deep spiritual depth” to collaborate with.
He then singled out Portable, claiming the singer possessed more “spiritual depth” than Mercy Chinwo and would be the perfect feature.
VeryDarkMan said: “My single is out — “Body of Christ”. I’m thinking of featuring someone holier. In my opinion, this person is even holier than Mercy Chinwo.”
“I believe this person has the spirit of Christ in him. I want someone way better than her — someone with real spiritual depth.”
“Portable, I’ll be in your DM. I want you on this song because you’re spiritually inclined. Forget our differences — I believe you have more spirituality in Christ than Mercy Chinwo.”
The post quickly stirred reactions on social media, with many people sharing their opinions in the comment section.
