Parents Protest At JAMB Office Over Low 2025 UTME Exam Scores Of Their Children [Video]

A group of frustrated parents gathered outside the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) office, protesting over unfairly low Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) scores for their children.

This move comes as thousands of candidates threaten legal action against JAMB, claiming that glitches during the exam affected their performance and final scores.

JAMB also acknowledged receiving an unusually high number of complaints since the results were released last Friday.

In a video circulating on social media, some parents could be seen a JAMB office, calling for clear explanations from the officials.

The parents believes the low marks in the 2025 UTME point to deeper problems in how the exam is run.

Under the hashtag #ThisIsNotMyResult, students and families are sharing stories of scores they say don’t match their performance, increasing pressure on JAMB to address these concerns.

Watch the video below:

KanyiDaily recalls that JAMB recently announced an immediate review of the 2025 UTME following widespread complaints from candidates and parents about technical issues and low scores.
