President Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Tuesday, May 27, to take part in the 50th anniversary celebration of ECOWAS and to commission various projects.
He is also expected to celebrate the upcoming Muslim festival in the state.
To clear the way for the presidential convoy, some roads were shut down, causing heavy traffic across different parts of Lagos.
Speaking on air Wednesday morning, Reuben Abati shared his frustration, especially since he uses one of the roads that was affected.
He argued that regular residents should not be made to suffer just because the President is in town.
