APC Ward Secretary, Abdullahi Balla Dies After Collapsing On His Way Home From Abuja Farm

Abdullahi Balla, the secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwargwada Ward, Kuje Area Council of the FCT, has died after suddenly collapsing while returning from the farm in Abuja.

The deceased’s brother, Ibrahim Bala, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust, saying it happened last week.

According to him, Abdullahi had gone to the farm earlier that day with two of their younger brothers and appeared to be in good health. But on their way home, something unexpected happened.

Abdullahi Bala had just finished work and was walking back home with two of our brothers when he suddenly slumped.

“They held him and quickly called someone, who arrived with a motorcycle and rushed him to the hospital,” Ibrahim said.

Sadly doctors confirmed Abdullahi dead on arrival, and he has since been laid to rest according to Islamic customs.

KanyiDaily recalls that Captain Caleb Olubolade (rtd), a former Military Administrator of Bayelsa State and ex-Minister of Special Duties, also slumped and died while playing lawn tennis.
