In a video that has gone viral, the Osun monarch described the incident as a powerful demonstration of God’s protection.
Though he didn’t reveal exactly where or when it happened, he said a trailer struck him but ended up crashing and becoming badly damaged.
According to him, what happened next was nothing short of divine as he saw some angels of God dragging it.
“A trailer that was sent to kill us, hit us and fell flat and extremely dented. It was dragged away by angels of God,” he said.
Oba Akanbi used the moment to encourage others to put their trust in God, saying “Except you do not choose God. Don’t have doubts while trusting God.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, recently accused the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, of trying to remove him from his position.
