President Bola Tinubu has awarded national honours to 66 Nigerians for their contributions to the country, especially in connection with the fight for democracy during the June 12 movement.
Among those honoured are Nobel Prize winner Prof. Wole Soyinka, prominent lawyer Femi Falana (SAN), and Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah.
The announcement came on Thursday, as the President recognised individuals who played significant roles in shaping Nigeria’s democratic journey.
