JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ish-aq Oloyede, made the announcement on Tuesday during the 2025 Policy Meeting in Abuja.

Okeke Chinedu, who scored total score of 375, listed the University of Lagos as his first choice and hopes to study Mechanical Engineering.

Following closely behind is Ayuba Simon-Peter John from Gombe State, who scored 374. He chose Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) and also plans to study Mechanical Engineering.

Third on the list is Jimoh Abdulmalik Olayinka from Kwara State, who scored 373 and selected the University of Lagos for the same course.

All three top-performing candidates are male and opted to study Mechanical Engineering.

Other candidates who also scored 373 include Roberts Damiete, Ononugbo Chigozirim, Olawepo Gertrude, Afinotan Leslie, Azoyenime Samuel, and Oyebode Oluwapelumi.

KanyiDaily recalls that JAMB also set 150 as the minimum cut-off score for students seeking admission into Nigerian universities for the 2025/2026 academic session.
