Buhari’s Daughter Break Down In Tears As She Arrives Daura For Late Father’s Burial

Fatima Buhari, the eldest daughter of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, broke down in tears on Tuesday as she arrived at the family home in Daura ahead of her father’s burial.

Fatima was seen being comforted by relatives and close friends, including Maryam Shettima, a well-known APC figure.

Other members of the Buhari family have also gathered at the Daura residence to pay their final respects.

Meanwhile, Buhari’s body has arrived at at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport in Katsina.

The former president is scheduled to be buried later today at his home following funeral prayers at the Emir’s palace, set for 2 p.m.

KanyiDaily recalls that Muhammdu Buhari died in London on Sunday after battling a long illness.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government declared Tuesday, July 15, 2025, a public holiday to honour Muhammadu Buhari.
