The Federal Government hosted a special Presidential dinner at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja to celebrate the Super Falcons for winning their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title.

Top Nigerian artists like Flavour, Teni, Timi Dakolo, and Fido lit up the event with live performances in honour of the players on Monday night.

Earlier that day, President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu welcomed the team at the Presidential Banquet Hall, praising their outstanding achievement.

During the event, President Tinubu awarded each player the sum of $100,000 and a national honour.

The technical crew also received $50,000 each, and everyone including players and staff were given a three-bedroom apartment in the Renewed Hope Estate.

The Super Falcons earned their 10th WAFCON title after a dramatic 3–2 comeback victory against Morocco in the final at Stade Olympique in Rabat on Saturday, July 26.
