Evans Okoro Accuses Husband Of Threatening Her Life After 3 Months Of Marriage [Video]

Nollywood actress Evan Okoro has cried out for help, saying she fears for her life due to some issues in her marriage to Prince Chibuzor Nwachimelueze.

The couple had their traditional wedding on April 13, 2025, in Evan Okoro’s hometown, Ubulu-Ihejifor in Oru-West Local Government Area of Imo State.

However, just three months later, the actress is saying she wants out, claiming her husband has threatened to kill her if she leaves him.

In a video shared on social media, Evan Okoro opened up about her situation, saying she no longer feels safe.

The actress explained that she had reported her husband to the police and filed a formal petition against him.

She said, “My life is more important to me. The shoe that I took home is not my size. I’m living in fear.

Something strong is happening to me. If I don’t come out to say it, I don’t know where I will be tommorow. He’s threatening my life. I don’t want the marriage anymore. I’ve been living in fear since.

Okoro also revealed that her husband never paid her bride price, adding that her family recently reached out to him about it, but nothing has changed.

The actress emphasized that every attempt to fix the marriage has failed, while cautioning him against harming her or her family.

She further claimed that her husband only pursued the relationship because he believed she was wealthy.

This guy married me thinking that I’ve money to spend. When he came into my life, I thought it was all love and I saw the way it was going,” she said.

Evan Okoro also alleged that since their wedding, there has been no intimacy between them, and despite raising the issue with his family, no one has intervened.

The actress is calling on the public and authorities to intervene, warning that she and her family could be in danger.
