WAEC Releases 2025 WASSCE Results | How To Check

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.

In a post shared on its X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, August 4, 2025, WAEC announced that students who took part in the exam can now check their results online.

“The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025,” WAEC announced.

Candidates are encouraged to visit the Council’s result portal to view their scores.

“To access the result, log on to http://waecdirect.org,” the statement added.

How to Check Your 2025 WASSCE Result:

1. Go to http://waecdirect.org.
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number (this includes your 7-digit centre number and 3-digit candidate number — e.g. 4123456789).
   • For exams taken before 1999, use your 8-digit number (5-digit centre + 3-digit candidate number — e.g. 19865001).
3. Select your examination year — e.g. 2025.
4. Choose the type of examination (School Candidate).
5. Enter your e-PIN Voucher Number.
6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN.
7. Click “Submit” and wait for your result to be displayed.

Candidates are encouraged to double-check their details before submitting to avoid errors.
