Suspected bandits have attacked the busy Isanlu–Isin–Omu Aran highway in Kwara State and abducted at least four travelers.

The incident was said to have happened early Monday when the gunmen blocked the road and laid ambush for motorists using the route, which connects parts of Kwara South to Ilorin, the state capital.

According to a source, the bandits stopped several vehicles and took some passengers away to an unknown destination.
