Rosy Meurer Denies Unfollowing Churchill After His Reconciliation With Tonto Dikeh

Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has dismissed claims that there is trouble in her marriage to businessman Olakunle Churchill.

Speaking in a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, Rosy Meurer said the rumours were false and made it clear that her marriage is stable and peaceful.

The speculation started after social media users noticed that she appeared not to be following her husband on Instagram.

This happened around the same time Churchill travelled to Lagos to mark the 10th birthday of his son from his previous marriage to actress Tonto Dikeh.

The coincidence quickly led to online gossip that the couple were having problems.

Reacting to the rumour, Meurer shared posts showing that she has been following Churchill on Instagram since 2017, even before they got married.

She explained that she never unfollowed him and blamed the situation on a possible technical issue.

“I have no reason to unfollow my husband. Thank you very much. And I did not unfollow my husband. I do not know what technical issue. I do not know what games anyone is playing somewhere on the ground,” she said.

“I am not that petty. And I have never unfollowed my husband, and I never will. So, you guys are going to wait for a very long time. If I do eventually unfollow him, you will be the first to know.”

The actress also said she is happy in her marriage and is with her husband by choice.

She added that she is treated well and has no complaints as long as her husband is comfortable with her.

“I am in this marriage because I want to be in this marriage. I am being treated well. I am happy. If my husband is okay with me, I do not have a problem,” she said

Rosy Meurer also addressed rumours linking her to Tonto Dikeh.

Churchill and Dikeh, who got married in 2015, separated in 2017 after a messy breakup that played out publicly for years.

She denied claims that she was ever friends with Dikeh or that she had anything to do with the collapse of that marriage.

According to her, she has never met Dikeh and has no personal relationship with her.

“I just want to tell you guys one thing, I was never my husband’s ex’s friend. Not to talk about the best friend. I have never met her,” she added.

“I have never seen her. She does not have my number. I do not have her number. She is about eight to nine years older than I am. I have read comments in which people have told me that I was her best friend. Or, she introduced me to her husband, and I snatched him.”
