Media publisher Dele Momodu has revealed that efforts are ongoing to resolve the custody dispute between singer Davido and Sophia Momodu, the mother of his first daughter, Imade Adeleke.

Momodu, who is Sophia’s uncle, made this known in a post on his Instagram page on Thursday morning.
He explained that he is currently in Liberia, where he said Davido is highly admired and regarded as a music icon.
According to him, several fans reached out to him about the ongoing disagreement between Davido and Sophia.
He said one supporter, a fashion designer, specifically appealed to him to step in and help bring peace between the two.
Momodu assured concerned fans that steps are being taken privately to settle the matter and asked for prayers, expressing confidence that everything would be resolved peacefully.
The media mogul said he travelled to Liberia to console former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor over the loss of her son, Charles Philip Neilson Taylor Jr.
He wrote, “Here in Liberia, @davido is treated as the god of music. I’ve been visiting here for over two decades but this visit is different.
” I came to commiserate with my friend and Sister, former Vice President H.E DR JEWEL HOWARD-TAYLOR on the passing of her only child, CHARLES PHILIP NEILSON TAYLOR JR.
“Since landing here, I have been inundated with messages from fans of David, and ladies who love @thesophiamomodu to bits… One of them is this “fashion designer ” @lorine.doe who said I should step in and settle the “quarrels.”
“My dear Sister, thanks so much. Nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be alright … We are working behind the scenes. Pls, keep everyone in your prayers…”
KanyiDaily recalls that Davido and Sophia Momodu were recently in court over the custody of their daughter, Imade.
