Mina Orupabo, a popular event planner, has died after being shot by unknown gunmen in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
It was gathered that Mina Orupabo, who owned Special Bensington Ushers, was attacked on Thursday evening, March 19, 2026, at about 8 p.m.
The incident happened along Total Gospel Road, off Peter Odili Road.
She was reportedly on her way to inspect an event venue ahead of a programme when the attackers opened fire on her.
Her driver and another person who were with her at the time were able to escape unharmed.
Mina Orupabo was rushed to a hospital for treatment but later died on Saturday.
KanyiDaily also reported how 23-year-old social media influencer from Mexico, Valeria Marquez, was shot and killed while live streaming on TikTok.
