Nigerian music video director TG Omori has revealed what pushed him to start using a smaller car in Lagos, even though he owns luxury vehicles.

In a post shared on X, TG Omori explained that he often faced harassment from street thugs in Lagos who demanded money whenever they saw him in expensive cars.

According to him, the pressure became so constant that he decided to park his expensive cars and rely on a more modest Hyundai just to move around with less stress.

He wrote: “This traffic thugs really bullied me to park my cars and buy a small Hyundai to find peace in this Lagos roads. 

“One time I was rushing to the hospital for an emergency, back seat in my Gwagon this niggas blocked my car, chased it down traffic till I had to make a transfer.” 

His story reflects a growing concern among some Nigerian celebrities who say they are frequently targeted for money whenever they are spotted in luxury cars on Lagos roads.
