Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has revealed what truly matters to her when it comes to relationships, saying physical appearance is not enough.

Speaking during a live Twitch chat with Nigerian TikTok creator Jarvis, the “Rush” star said she does have a type, but it goes far beyond appearance.

The Mavin Records artiste, whose real name is Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, explained that attraction means little if the person lacks intelligence and common sense.

She said, “Yeah, I have a type. You have to have a type. To be honest, my type is not too physical like that because you can be fine and not have sense. It is the truth.”

Aside from speaking about dating, Ayra Starr also revealed that fans will soon see her in a movie role where she will be playing a completely different character rather than herself.

She also spoke about a private relationship that inspired her recent single ‘Where Do We Go’.

The singer opened up on the emotional conflict she faced over whether to keep the relationship secret or make it public, explaining that those feelings later influenced the song.
