KanyiDaily recalls that Alexx Ekubo, who died on May 11 after battling stage 4 kidney cancer, was buried last week in his hometown of Aziukwubwo Ujori village in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.
Taking to her Instagram story, Angela Okorie revealed that her godmother told her it is not advisable to keep clothes worn to burial ceremonies and recommended that they should be destroyed instead.
The actress shared a video showing the moment the outfit was set on fire and encouraged her followers to take note of the advice.
“This is the outfit I wore to Alex’s burial. My Godmother said it is not good to keep the clothes you wore to a burial around you; you should burn them,” she wrote.
She added, “So family and friends, take note. I felt I should share this information. May the Lord keep and bless us with long life. Amen. Chaiii.”
