“Nobody Can Stop Davido From Coming To Edo” – Israel DMW Replies Okpebholo’s Aide

Israel DMW, the logistics manager of Afrobeats star Davido, has dismissed the claim that the singer can be stopped from performing in Edo State.

Israel reacted after an aide to Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo announced that Davido had been banned from holding shows in the state.

The governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media, Apostle Kassy Chukwu, made the announcement in a video on Friday.

He said the decision followed the public disagreement between Davido and Governor Okpebholo during the build-up to the Osun State governorship election.

Responding to the announcement, Israel, who is from Edo, argued that nobody had the authority to prevent Davido from performing there.

He also pointed out that Davido’s late mother is from Edo and told people to disregard the governor:s aide:

Israel went further by questioning Chukwu’s connection to Edo, claiming that the governor’s aide is originally from Ebonyi State and accusing him of causing problems in Benin City.

Israel maintained that Chukwu was not speaking on behalf of Edo people and insisted that Davido could not be banned from his maternal home.

He wrote, “HE’S FROM EBONYI STATE, AND NOT FROM EDO. 100% A REAL SETTLER, WHO HAS BECOME A COMPLETE NUISANCE IN BENIN CITY. AN APC FAKE PASTOR, A CUM PASTOR. A BEER PALOUR PASTOR.

“KINDLY DISREGARD WHAT HE’S SAYING. HE’S NOT SPEAKING FOR WE EDOLITES. NO MAN ON THIS PLANET EARTH CAN BAN OGA FROM EDO, HIS MATERNAL HOME. IDIOT OF A PASTOR.”
