Prince Harry, Meghan Markle And Children Return To UK Six Years After Megxit
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have returned to the United Kingdom with their two children, six years after stepping back from their roles as senior members of the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Birmingham on Wednesday, August 26, beginning what sources described as an extended stay in the UK.
The couple reportedly travelled privately from California, departing from Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles on a Bombardier Global Express XRS business jet chartered from Planet Nine Private Air.
According to reports, the flight took more than 10 hours. The cost of chartering the aircraft was estimated to be around $12,000 per hour, meaning the journey could have cost about $120,000.
Harry and Meghan did not receive publicly funded police protection when they arrived in the UK.
Their children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, are also accompanying them.
Reports said the children have already been enrolled in school in the UK.
The family is expected to stay in a private, non-royal home and does not plan to resume official royal duties.
Harry and Meghan are also expected to continue running their independent business and media projects.
Their two dogs, Mia and Pula, have also travelled with the family, while their chickens have remained at their home in Montecito, California.
The exact length of their stay has not been confirmed.
A source reportedly described the visit as an extended one, saying it could last anywhere from several months to a few years.
“How long will they stay? I don’t know, but it will be for an extended period. Whether that’s six months, a year, two years … who knows,” a source told the Telegraph of the family’s move.
The couple announced their plans to return to Britain last week, six years after their decision to step away from royal duties, an event widely referred to as “Megxit”.
Reports suggest Harry wanted to spend more time closer to his father, King Charles, while also giving Archie and Lilibet an opportunity to develop stronger relationships with members of the royal family.
The return comes after years of tension between Harry and other members of the royal family.
King Charles reportedly met with Harry and Meghan last month, although the monarch was said to have learned about their plans to return to the UK only shortly before the news became public.
