Nigerian actor Kevin Mike, who witnessed the incident, said the trouble began when one of the women reached her assigned seat and found another passenger already sitting there.

Both women reportedly had tickets showing the same seat number.

The airline’s crew asked the passengers to leave the aircraft so the issue could be resolved, but both refused, saying they wanted to remain on the flight.

Air Peace then asked passengers if anyone was willing to take the next available flight in exchange for a 50 percent discount.

However, no one initially accepted the offer, causing further delays.

The situation was eventually resolved when two male passengers agreed to take the later flight and accepted the airline’s compensation offer.

The aircraft then departed after the seat dispute was settled.
