Nigerian rapper, Zlatan Ibile has reportedly been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with Naira Marley still in custody.

KanyiDaily had reported that EFCC arrested Naira Marley, along with Zlatan Ibile and three others last week Friday, to profile them in order to establish their affiliations with internet fraudsters popularly called ‘yahoo yahoo’.

A reliable inside source has disclosed to Tooxclusive that Zlatan Ibile, Rahman Jago and two others person were freed on “bail” after spending 4 days in detention, following the intervention of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) that Davido hired for them, but they still have to report at the EFCC’s office, daily, till the end of the saga.

Davido also took to his Instagram page to the release of Zlatan by welcoming the Zanku master back home with a caption, “Zankuuu Free ! People love u sha! Oya go back to making History @zlatan_ibile”

Also, popular police officer and music artiste, Guccimane Eko, also known as Yomi Sars has taken to his Instagram page to welcome him back with a caption, “Welcome back son like i have always told you be humble. Observers are worried.”

Although there haven’t been much information about the release, but we can gather that after thorough investigation, the agency has been able to establish Zlatan’s innocence, thereby declaring him free to go home.

There is wide jubilations currently among the family, friends and associate of the artiste as they reveal there would be a statement released very soon.
