The multi-talented Selena Gomez wasn’t always so confident about her stunning brunet looks.

“When I was younger, I wanted to be blond and blue-eyed,” she told People. “Now, I love the fact that I’m half-Italian and half-Mexican and I have dark features.” 

She highlights her luminous skin with rosy blush and shimmery pink gloss for an effect that is completely Selena. As Gomez said,

“I love being who I am.”
