“Trump Isn’t Your Business, Old Man… Face Your Country!” – Wizkid Blast President Buhari
Popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari for wishing the United States President, Donald Trump, a “quick recovery from COVID-19”, instead of focusing on issues affecting the country.
KanyiDaily recalls that President Trump and his wife, Melania, had tested positive to COVID-19 on Thursday, October 1, 2020, after one of the top presidential aides, Hope Hicks, contracted the virus.
On Friday, President Buhari sympathized with the US first family over their state of health, wishing them “quick and full recovery from COVID-19.”
Amid the outrage that ensued due to the alleged killing of a young man by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Delta State, Wizkid urged President Buhari to focus more on issues affecting the country and its youth rather than matters that concern America.
In a post shared on his Twitter page, the music star told Buhari to leave Donald Trump alone and do something about the brutal killings of Nigerian youths in the country by police/SARS.
“Donald Trump is not your business! Old man! Police/Sarz still killing Nigerian youth on a daily! Do something! Nothing concern u for America! Face your country!” he wrote.
