London-To-Lagos Driver, Pelumi Nubi Appointed As Lagos Ambassador; Gets New House, Car

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu warmly welcomed travel content creator, Pelumi Nubi, to the Government House on Monday.

This comes barely one day after Pelumi Nubi arrived in Lagos on April 7, following an impressive 68-day solo journey from London.

During her ambitious journey from London to Lagos, Pelumi suffered an accident, which momentarily put a stop to her trip before she continued.

The 28-year-old arrived in Lagos on Sunday afternoon and was treated to a nice homecoming party at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

In recognition of her remarkable feat and commitment to promoting Lagos State, Governor Sanwo-Olu appointed Pelumi Nubi as the Lagos State Brand Ambassador.

As a token of appreciation, the content creator was presented with a new car, a house in Lagos, and a customized license plate.

Sharing her excitement on social media, Pelumi expressed gratitude for the opportunity, describing it as a new chapter filled with promise and opportunities.

Taking to her X handle, Pelumi wrote: “Just another great start and a new beginning. Congratulations to me guys as I become a Lagos state ambassador

“Alongside a new car gift from His excellence @jidesanwoolu, A new home in Lagos and also a customized plate number. God is Good.”
