Nigerian Businesswoman Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, popularly known as Jaruma, sparked reactions online after discussing her husband’s role in their marriage.

During a podcast episode of “Issues and Society”, Jaruma revealed she didn’t marry for love but to avoid societal pressure.

The Businesswoman admitted her marriage was brief and that, in her case, it felt like “renting” a husband for content purposes.

She compared her situation to celebrity stylist Victoria James, also known as Veekee James, whom she claimed did something similar by allegedly “renting” a husband for social media content.

Jaruma’s remarks stirred controversy, with many netizens criticizing her for dragging the fashion designer into her personal issues.
