Chinese Woman Sets Hotel Ablaze, Destroys Property Valued At 24million

On Tuesday July 5, at about 8pm, the suspect lodged with her boyfriend, Jian Feng, at Ernest hotel, located at 28, Bamishile Street, off Allen, Ikeja, Lagos.

The Chinese girl set ablaze some parts of Ernest hotel while using hard substance in her room. This razed down the property.

Confirming the incident yesterday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said:

“The suspect allegedly set ablaze some parts of Ernest hotel while using hard substances in her room.’’

Badmos also added that the property is valued at about N24 million. However, she did not confirm if the Chinese citizen will be charged to court.

What kind of “hard substances” was she using that led to such damage to the hotel? The police should make sure that woman is not allowed to escape.
