3 Star General Oladipo Diya shed whatever pride he had when he wept and grovelled at General Abacha’s feet begging for forgiveness. This is after Diya’s involvement in planning a coup against Abacha came to light.
Despite being a General, Diya’s grovelling was so pathetic, that Abacha had to give him tissue paper to wipe away his tears.
