Four Federal University Of Agriculture Makurdi Students Die After Fatal Accident Inside The School Campus

Four students of Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue state, have lost their lives in a fatal car crash that occurred within their campus. The accident happened at about 8am yesterday.

 

According to eyewitnesses, a motorcycle carrying a student crossed an intra-campus shuttle bus and in the process of avoiding the motorcycle, the driver of the bus was said to have applied brake which caused the bus to somersault.

The two students in the front seat died instantly while two others died in the school clinic where they were rushed to for medical attention. Four other students are in critical conditions.

The accident caused the students to go on rampage. They burnt the campus bus and some other properties were destroyed. The school authorities have shut down the school until further notice.
