The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Imo West, Jones Onyeyiri, escaped assassination attempt on his life after armed thugs invaded his residence.
It was gathered that gunmen stormed his residence and shot sporadically into the building. One victim was said to have been critically injured in the attack.
Jones Onyeyiri (first pictured above) paid a visit to the victim of the assassination attempt, Engr Nnamdi Nnorom at the hospital where he is undergoing medical attention.
