Candidates preparing to seat for the upcoming West African Examination Council (WAEC), and the Joint Admissions Matriculations Board (JAMB) have cried out over the clashes in the timetable of the two examination bodies.
The candidates have complained bitterly about the clashes, thus, asking the two bodies (WAEC and JAMB) to quickly synergize and reach understanding for the sake of their future.
We gathered that some WAEC subjects will be taken on a day that a crucial JAMB paper will also be examined.
For instance, WAEC students who are expected to write Animal Husbandry next week by 9 am on Thursday, 11th April 2019, are also being expected to sit for their JAMB paper on the same day and at the same time.
One of the candidates identified as Siddiqah Olatope who cried to newsmen said, “UTME clashes with WAEC. I will be happy if your media can help in broadcasting this.
“The first day (11/4/19) to write JAMB had already been scheduled by WAEC for animal husbandry exam and some two other days for other subjects.
“Many candidates would be affected, parents and guidance are crying in silent
“There should be rescheduled for affected candidates.”
