Kebbi State Police Command has arrested a housewife identified as Auta Dogo Singe for allegedly killing her new husband so that she could go back to her former husband in Bagudo Local Government Area of the state.
According to the police, the woman conspired with one Garba Hassan and Sahabi Garba at Sabon Gari Village, Illo district area of Bagudo to kill her husband, Abdullahi Shaho, in order to remarry her ex-spouse.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Garba Danjuma, confirmed the incident during a briefing with journalists.
He said the housewife and the two men conspired with have been arrested.
