Nigerians on social media are reacting in disbelief to a shocking viral video that shows a woman undergoing an extreme measure to bleach her skin, which the vendor dubbed as an “instant” skin whitening solution and cost N30,000.
In the video, a woman is seen in a bathtub filled with water, while an attendant can also be seen using some instrument to peel off her skin. The water changes colour the more the skin is peeled off.
When the woman was doing the peeling, the vendor can be heard saying:
“As you can see, it’s very fast. You can see now it’s peeling off and this is December period, it’s very, very effective. The result is instant. Can you see this? It works just for 30,000 naira. The skin peels off immediately and you get whitening immediately.”
