Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi and the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, graced the burial ceremony of Nnamdi Kanu’s parents HRH Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and Ugoeze Sally Kanu at the St. Andrews Anglican Church, Afaraukwu in Abia State.
Also joined them is Chief Victor Umeh, former National chairman of APGA, Chief Tony Ukasoanya Abia State chapter PDP pioneer chairman and a PDP chieftain, Chief Empire Kanu.
The body of Kanu’s parents arrived Umuahia North LGA headquarters where it was received by the LGA officials and they are being expected soon at the church venue.
