Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has personally briefed President Muhammadu Buhari on the unfortunate explosion that rocked Abule Ado area of the state.
KanyiDaily had reported that a massive explosion rocked Abule Ado on Sunday morning, with 15 people confirmed dead, and many houses and vehicles destroyed.
In a tweet on Monday, Governor Sanwo-Olu was pictured showing President Buhari images of the devastation occasioned by the explosion in Lagos at the State House, Abuja.
Before meeting with Buhari, Sanwo-Olu had on Monday set up a N2 billion Emergency Relief Fund to assist victims of the explosion, urging members of the public to donate.
President Buhari had also commiserated with families who lost loved ones, and all those affected by the explosion in Lagos State.
