One Dead, Many Injured As Trailer Loses Control And Rams Into Multiple Vehicle At Otedola Bridge

A fatal accident has occurred on Otedola Bridge around Berger Area of Lagos State, leaving one person dead and several others injured.

The accident happened on Thursday morning around Mobil petrol station inward Berger and claimed the life of an unidentified woman.

A security source who witnessed the accident said a loaded tanker lost control and rammed into an inter-state commercial bus and car. He said:

“A tanker fully loaded failed break and ram into an inter-state Mazda bus and a Volkswagen car.”

“Six people critically injured including a boy of about 9years old, one woman died and the injured have been taken to the hospital while the dead body of the woman has been taken to the mortuary.

“The DPO of Alausa, DPO of Isheri, RRS men, LASTMA, Road safety corp, Commander State Traffic Unit, CSP Titilayo Oriyomi Oluwasanmi and her personnel are at the scene.

“Accidented vehicle has been removed off the road by LASEMA and road has just been open for traffic to flow”.
