Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje said those accusing him of being responsible for the frequent deaths in the state of late are ‘blind critics’.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar, the governor said many of his critics were far away from Kano and did not understand the landscape or the “peculiar setting” of the state.
“We are not minding the critics because they are blind critics. We know what we want and we will continue to do what is right. We will not be distracted from doing the right things.
“They are just there living somewhere not in the state. They are not even aware of our peculiar setting here in Kano. They don’t know what we are doing.
“It is just like the issue of frequent deaths that is all over. In fact, it is a global experience. But for those blind critics, when it started in Kano, they even thought and amplified that it was the governor causing it,” Ganduje said.
