Lauretta Onochie Clashes With Dele Momodu For Describing President Buhari As Failure

Lauretta Onochie, the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, has clashed with the Ovation CEO, Dele Momodu, for describing her principal as a failure.

Momodu had shared a post on his Twitter page in reply to Nigerians who were criticising him for being among those who brought President Buhari into power.

He wrote: “I did not bring Buhari. I did what most reasonable Democrats would have done in the circumstance of PDP’s failure after 16 years in power by trying the next most electable candidate and when he failed tried the next…”

Uncomfortable with his comment, Onochie replied on her Twitter handle saying: “‘Failed’ because he (Buhari) won’t dish out cash for photos that can easily be obtained on Instagram and other picture apps.”

She added, “Because #BabaNoDeyDrop, your ego-massaging, ostentatious and filthy-wealth-flaunting customers, can no longer afford you (Momodu). Try Diversification!”

Momodu fired back at Onochie, saying she’s a troublesome lady and scavenger.

This is coming a few weeks after the Senate rejected the appointment of Lauretta Onochie, as a INEC National Commissioner after she was nominated by President Buhari.
