Governor Wike made this known on Tuesday, January 12, when he led Anyim Pius Anyim, a former Secretary to the Federal Government, to inaugurate the Rumuekini/Aluu Road, traversing Obio/Akpor and Ikwerre Local Government Areas.

According to a statement by the governor’s media aide, Kelvin Ebiri, his successor will only begin his project without any uncompleted project.

“There is nothing that will be given to you that will be too much. Nobody that will succeed me will complete any of my projects because I will complete all my projects before I go. I won’t leave any project burden for my successor. When the new person comes, let him initiate his own projects.

We were also at Akuku-Toru and Emohua. We are a government for every Rivers person and every local government.” the statement reads.

KanyiDaily recalls how three suspects were arrested by the police for allegedly bombing Governor Wike Father’s Church in Rivers State on Saturday November 28, 2020.

After their arrest, the suspects however confessed that they bombed the church in order to get recognition in IPOB.
