The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Sunday 8th November 2021, declared the Anambra state governorship election inconclusive and fixed today for a supplementary election in Ihiala Local Government Area.
The election did not end on the first ballot because in Ihiala LGA, which has a total of 148,407 registered voters, not a single ballot was cast.

Recall that the APGA candidate Chukwuma Soludo has already won in 18 Local Government areas of the state.
