Zamfara Killings Show How Valueless Lives Have Become Under Buhari – Moghalu

Former presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Kingsley Moghalu has reacted to the recent killing of over 200 citizens across communities in Zamfara State.

KanyiDaily had reported how 143 bodies were recovered and buried following the brutal killing of over 200 people by bandits in five communities in Zamfara.

It was gathered that the bandits also set many houses ablaze, forcing scores of villagers, who managed to escape, to flee and remain missing during the attack which started on Wednesday till Thursday.

Reacting in a tweet on Sunday, January 9, Moghalu lamented that lives have become “valueless” in Nigeria under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The former presidential aspirant added that the Zamfara killings and tragedies in other parts of the country will end when Nigerians elect a competent government.

He wrote, “My heart goes out to the families of the over 200 persons killed by terrorists in #Zamfara. This & other tragedies say how valueless life has become in Nigeria.

“When will this end? When we elect a competent government that can secure our lives, the first duty of government.”

KanyiDaily had also reported how bandits killed a traditional ruler, Umaru Bawan-Allah, and three other persons at Gada community in Bungudu local government area of Zamfara state.
