Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi held a closed-door meeting with the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
The Ebonyi Governor, who was recently sacked by a Federal High Court in Abuja, visited Tinubu in his residence in Abuja, the federal capital territory (FCT).
Special Assistant to the Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwaze, disclosed this in a post shared on his Facebook page on Friday, March 11, 2022.
“Presidential hopeful and Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi, FNSE, FNATE meets Alh. Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja on Friday, March 11, 2022,” he wrote.
Tinubu, who recently declared his intention to contest for presidency in 2023, has been travelling across the country to consult with various stakeholders.
Governor Umahi has also expressed his interest in contesting the 2023 presidential election. The governor said God spoke to him about joining the race.
