Bandits Abduct Five Female Students Of Zamfara College Of Health Science

Bandits have abducted five students of the College of Health Science and Technology in Tsafe area of Zamfara State.

It was gathered that the students were abducted in the early hours of Wednesday when the bandits invaded a private hostel situated outside the school campus.

Zamfara Police Command spokesman, Mohammed Shehu, who confirmed the incident to TheCable, said one of the victims escaped from the abductors.

Shehu said, “It is confirmed. The students were abducted at the outskirt of the town in their residence.

“One of them escaped, remaining four students. The police in collaboration with sister agencies have commenced a search and rescue mission to get the students back.”

Shehu added that the bandits are yet to call anyone to discuss ransom.

KanyiDaily recalls that last year, a total of 73 students were abducted by bandits from Government Day Secondary School in Zamfara State.
