Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has accused a gospel singer, Frank Edwards of secretly dating his late colleague, Osinachi Nwachukwu.
Frank Edwards Reacts To Osinachi Nwachukwu’s Death
KanyiDaily had reported that Osinachi, who became popular after the release of “Ekwueme” by Prospa Ochimana, died of throat cancer at an Abuja hospital on Friday evening, April 8, 2022.
But a few hours after news of her demise circulated on social media, there were rumours that the gospel suffered an abusive marriage at the hands of her husband.
In the now-deleted cryptic post shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, Frank Edwards claimed that Osinachi’s death was caused by an “unreasonable human”.
The 32-year-old musician also alleged that a former director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) known as “Aunty Joy” tried to prevent the singer’s death.
He wrote, “So that unreasonable human being finally put off a shining light. I won’t say much now, I’ll let the former NDDC director (Aunty Joy) who did everything possible to stop this from happening talk first, but it still happened we tried to stop this.”
Kemi Olunloyo Slams Frank Edwards
On Sunday, the journalist took to her Twitter page to call out the gospel singer for allegedly being the secret lover of Osinachi which made her husband jealous.
She wrote, “Frank Edwards you’re STUPID! Were you not Osinachi Nwachukwu’s secret lover? Of course her own husband was “jealous” of her. Joy Nunieh should not be dragged into your foolishness. Joy is a real woman & strong one & she once slapped Akpabio for sexual harassment. TELL THE TRUTH.”
Osinachi’s death comes just two weeks after her colleague, Chinedu Nwadike, 39, died of blood cancer in Abuja hospital after recovering from a kidney problem.
