Cossy Orjiakor Demands Justice Over ‘Sex-With-Dog Scandal’ That Ended Her Career

Nollywood actress, Cossy Orjiakor is seeking justice over an allegation that destroyed her life and career many years ago after she was accused of having sεx with a dog.

Cossy Orjiafor Sex With Dog Scandal

In 2002, the actress came under heavy backlash after the publisher of Enquirer Magazine, Tunde Moshood, accused her of having sεx with a dog and shared footage where the actress appeared to be intimate with the animal, to back up his claim.

Orjiakor had dismissed the claim, alleging that the video clip was a scene from ‘Itohan’, a 2002 movie that spotlighted the plights of Nigerians trafficked to other countries and used as sεx slaves.

Despite her efforts to defend herself, the footage made her a subject of mockery and ridicule at the time, as a number of people concluded she had sεx with a dog.

Following the recent police manhunt on those engaging in bestiality and posting bestial-natured videos online, Orjiakor has called on security operatives to investigate the ‘sex-with-dog scandal’ that ended her career in the last decade.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress called on the police to probe Moshood, who she said is now a politician in Lagos state, over the scandal which caused her emotional trauma and ruined her image as well as her career.

She lamented that in spite of the damage caused to her reputation, nothing has been done to the journalist who made millions from the story, leaving her broken and unsheltered from the hurt.

Orjiakor wrote, “Sometimes a lifetime award turns out to be a lifetime shame…..thats when Nigeria happens to you. Please @nigerianpoliceforce @nigerian_police_force_sc @nigerian_police_academy_wudil_ I reported this case years ago. But I was just a naive girl …a nobody.

“It was all over the news. Cossy Ojiako slept with Dog and got HIV. My image .. Emotional trauma .. my career everything went down the drain. . I lost my sense of purpose.”

The actress said the police should dissipate similar energy used in investigating the lady in a recent video who claimed she had sex with dogs into her case.

“Up till date no justice… no apologies… nothing. It’s really an insult to me when the Nigerian police went after the girl on TikTok that jokingly said she slept with a dog.

“What about me that was in the magazine headline. Am I invisible? Please, solve this case and punish whoever is found guilty. Either Cossy the girl that supposedly slept with a dog or Tunde Moshood of the Enquirer magazine who is now a politician in Lagos state.

“The journalist that made millions from the story that broke me. Please my Instagram family help me tag the right police handle because I lost hope in the Nigerian justice system. It still hurts. I want justice.”

KanyiDaily recalls that a lady with TikTok user ID @Veegodess had been trending on social media after revealing in a viral video that she was paid N1.7million to sleep with a dog.
