Veteran Nigerian musician, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has revealed that he may relocate to Ghana after the 2023 general election.
He was reacting to the ambition of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the aspirant of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
In a post shared on his Twitter page, Charly Boy said he would leave Nigeria and beg Ghana for citizenship should either of them eventually becomes president.
The musician said President Muhammadu Buhari will look like a saint if Atiku or Tinubu emerges as the president in 2023.
Charly Boy wrote, “If any of these two jabagantis win, I go just leave una walker go Ghana, go beg dem for citizenship. Buhari, will look like a saint.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Charly Boy had advised Tinubu to drop his presidential ambition for the younger generation, stressing that the APC leader needs to enjoy his wealth and rest, noting that greed does not go with good health.
